Street Fighter 6 first released for PlayStation, Xbox, and PC in 2023, and Nintendo fans will finally get to jump into the fray when it releases for Switch 2 on the console’s launch day, June 5. Preorders are now open for Street Fighter 6 on Switch 2, and you’ll find two different versions up for grabs, one of which comes packed with all the DLC bonus fighters released over the past two years on other platforms. Along with the Switch 2 version of the game, a new line of Street Fighter Amiibo are also up for preorder, allowing you to unlock exclusive in-game goodies or quickly load your settings to a different console.
Street Fighter 6 Preorder Bonuses
There are currently no preorder bonuses for Street Fighter 6. However, one edition of the game comes bundled with tons of in-game content, so if you’re looking for more than the base game, be sure to check out the Fighter’s Edition. If you want to catch up with Street Fighter 6, consider purchasing the Fighter’s Edition. Along with the base game, you’ll get Character Passes from Year 1 and Year 2, which adds all eight DLC characters released so far, including Akuma, M. Bison, Ed, Rashid, Aki, Mai Shiranui, Terry Bogard, and Elena–boosting the game’s roster to 26 playable characters. You’ll also get four additional stages and Outfit 1 Colors 3-10 for all 18 original characters, plus 8,400 Drive Tickets, which is one of the in-game currencies.

Three new Street Fighter 6 Amiibo figures are also launching on June 5. All three Amiibo can save your outfit, button settings, and other customization options. When scanned on your Switch 2, it’ll quickly load all your saved settings. They also get you special in-game items, music, wallpapers, and camera frames. This Amiibo is modeled after Luke, who’s showing off his military training and fighting prowess with a nasty uppercut.

Switch 2 Games Available for Preorder
Street Fighter 6 isn’t the only Switch 2 games launching on June 5 alongside the console. Other notable launch day games include Mario Kart World and Bravely Default: Flying Fairy HD Remaster.
Along with these all-new games, several games from the original Switch are getting enhanced Switch 2 Edition releases, a few of which are available to preorder now. This includes a whole new adventure for Kirby and the Forgotten Land with the Star-Crossed World expansion and a bunch of new minigames and features for Super Mario Party Jamboree.

A Switch 2 Pro Controller is a wise choice if you’ll be playing Street Fighter 6, as most users will find it to be a bit more ergonomic and better suited for the frantic inputs required of the fighting game.
