Sabrina Carpenter does, in fact, leave quite an impression in Fortnite, so much so that players using her new skin are dancing together instead of shooting each other. The newly added pop star to the battle-royale game has apparently brought some chill to the battle-royale title.
On X, the official Fortnite account even stated that battle royale “is all vibes now” after reposting a video from someone showing how two Sabrina Carpenter skins decided to dance instead of fight. At first, the opposing Sabrina Carpenter skin does open fire on the player, before ultimately the two bust a move to “Taste.” The Grammy Award-winning artist just arrived earlier this week as the Fortnite Festival’s Season 8 Icon. There’s even a Music Pass based on the “Juno” singer.
However, it’s not all fun and games, as responses to the Fortnite post questioned whether these Sabrina Carpenter stalemates aren’t teaming, a form of working together in a competitive environment. Developer Epic Games does mention that to “team” is breaking cheating and trolling rules. That said, this particular instance isn’t in a tournament setting and doesn’t see the two players sharing items or teaming up on another competitor.
Looking ahead, it’s believed that Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3 will be Star Wars-themed, according to a prominent leaker. What is known is that Fortnite will get a Switch 2 edition at launch of the new Nintendo system on June 5.
